Tough weekend! Long hours and hard work!
If you were there, you would have frequently seen me disappear around a corner (or behind a tree, or in a bathroom stall) reaching out to God, asking the Holy Spirit for strength and wisdom and helping me to search for joy in every conversation and speak a blessing over every person.
Did I get it right? Not Even Close! but God was walking with us this weekend (and when I say “us” I speak of a few more people grafting hard this weekend)
This morning I was paging through Psalms and looking for the right words to express the gratitude in my heart. But what I settled on was worth more… in Psalm 127:
”If God’s grace doesn’t help the builders, they will labor in vain to build a house. If God’s mercy doesn’t protect the city, all the sentries will circle it in vain.“
(Psalms 127:1 TPT)
Every patron, every guest, every person and every couple that stopped to chat and ask questions was sent by God.
Some to build up our business. Some to be uplifted, by us. Some to be inspired to dream, and others to to take simply take a moment in our shade.
We may be building houses or electronics, shoot guns & bows or make medicine every day, but ultimately we serve God…
…and I am so grateful, because no matter what the future holds, God is in it, already there, and putting His plans into motion!
Have a wonderful day and live in Gods blessing and provision!
