Amazing Grace…

“I once was lost, but now I’m found… was blind but now I see…”

I can’t figure out how this last few weeks happened. Soo busy, soo tired and soo angry! I went through a period of sleeping an hour, sometimes even two hours a day… Why? Because I had to deliver. I had to do good. I had to prove that I will provide what I said I would.

Paul complains in Romans 7:21 “I discover that even when I want to do good, evil is ready to sabotage me…”

Even Paul struggled with this:

We want to do good, we have the best intention (or at least we feel justified in our actions) and then it backfires.

… the truth is that probably, maybe unintentionally, my motivation has shifted from Kingdom to self. And when that happens, all results end up less than optimal, and you go home, not satisfied, just tired.

Paul explains it to me: “Seanie, it works like this… the fact is that a mindset focused on the flesh will always fight God’s plan AND what is worse… it will refuse to submit to His direction… because it cannot!
(Romans 8:7 paraphrased)

“Lord, so many times I fail; I fall into disgrace. But when I trust in you, I have a strong and glorious presence protecting and anointing me. Forever you’re all I need!”
(Psalms 73:26 TPT)

“For when you live controlled by the flesh, you are about to die. But if the life of the Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh, we then taste his abundant life.”
(Romans 8:13 TPT)
