Jude 1:20-23 (build each other up)

The end of Jude, he speaks out instruction to those who follow God and have gained understanding. The interesting thing is that the way it was written, the translation can be both our actions to others, as well as actions we take to strengthen ourselves!
  • Build each other up.
  • Pray for each other.
  • Keep each other safe.
  • Have mercy on those who have doubts.
  • Save all you can.
The difference in translation: To me, it simply means that I should constantly be checking myself, check what I believe and always remember that I am here because of Grace and mercy… That grace and mercy was shown to me, given to me… how can I not have it for another that has heard, but not yet responded, or responded, but had not the strength to push through? In the end, it comes down to this: I cannot save myself, and surely not save another… but I can pray, and I can share what I learn and a seed I plant will be watered by another and the Holy Spirit will make it grow because I was diligent in the planting and praying, and someone else was diligent in the praying and watering.
