CS Lewis has a great book, the Screwtape letters. In it is two demons writing letters to each other… one phrase that always stuck in my mind is where the one Demon says: “the church is our greatest friend…”
This is a good reminder for me. Test everything, *don’t simply believe because of who said it*. I need to measure it against what I know of God’s character and why Christ did what He did.
