Ukraine 2023 – Coming up

Visiting Reni (and Extra)

To help us better understand the needs and environment in which the Ukrainians are currently functioning, we want to visit Michele in  Reni, Ukraine before the winter sets in.

The War in Ukraine has displaced a lot of people. There are refugees inside and outside of Ukraine, and currently, no indications of the hostilities letting up…

Friends of ours have a Church, Children’s Creche, and Refugee centre in the border town of Reni (green star, bottom left of map), and from here we want to start our ministry.

Our Primary Goals:

  • Connect with the local church and ministry
  • Get to know the leadership
  • Pray over the town

Our Secondary Goals:

  • Find the best coffee in town 😉
  • Scout living areas
  • Figure out support routes and roles
  • Meet up with old networks in Northern Ukraine

What we need:

  1. Prayer
  2. Airplane Tickets
  3. Visas
  4. Transport
  5. Housing
  6. Donations for the existing ministry

Super Bonus Points!

We want to raise funds for Raduga Children’s Care Center to at least ensure that a fair amount of food and other needs are covered before winter kicks in.

3. Help us raise funds SPECIFICALLY for the Raduga Children’s Care Center and The Ark

During normal operation, Raduga (which means “Rainbow”) takes care of about 70 kids on any given day. The Ark is a shelter for children who temporarily cannot live with their families due to a crisis situation at home… (…and is currently housing refugees as well)

4. Share our stories and testimonies with friends!
