Yesterday I was blessed to have that perspective of the followers of Jesus (not the disciples, just the hangers-on, the ones that came to see and hear. The searchers and wanderers)
When you stand in a crowd and you see the results of Faith. The miracle that occurred before your very eyes. The Holy Spirit just rips through your heart, and you keep on thinking, “How can you not?! How can you not follow this? How can you not want THIS?!”
So my soul shouted and cried out to God and tears ran down my face. Like the young lady on the stage calls it “ugly crying” before the Most Holy!
But, as usual, God left me with my own thoughts for a while… to sort through and understand my own questions. By this morning, he shared in the early morning light, in the calm and with birds just waking up.
You are not broken… Listen to Peter:
“…Everything we could ever need for LIFE and GODLINESS has already been deposited in us by His divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him who has CALLED US BY NAME and invited us to come to Him through a glorious manifestation of His goodness…”

God not only called us, but empowered us… And not only empowered us, but partnered with us to fulfil our calling. A strength that empowers us to escape the world’s corrupt desires. (2 Peter 1:4)
