Philippians 2:1-6 (a life like Christ’s)

Continuing in Philippians today, starting with chapter 2…

Some days you just get into the language of the Bible and it’s like you are reading but nothing gets in… what I like to do then is jump to the king James or Message or any other translation. I just seem to get my brain to reset.

So the Message today was the one where the message to me stood out today…

I keep on hammering about my purpose, and since putting it down in paper, it’s like God has just been nailing it into place for me with messages from friends, my bible studies, even the Sunday sermon was just for me… (Sorry to the thousand other people that had to sit and listen how God spoke to me!)

Philippians 2:4 (CEB): “…Instead of each person watching out for their own good, watch out for what is better for others…”

And then… just in case I might think it’s a misprint… The example that Paul gives is Jesus…

hard to argue.
